My name is Rick Faye and I am the owner and head instructor of the Minnesota Kali Group.  “MKG” is a martial arts organization with affiliates in 6 countries. 

We offer martial arts instruction as well as Law Enforcement and Military training and Fitness classes.

I have known Gary Hoptroff for over ten years and have been very impressed by him.  He has been a great student of the martial arts. Besides his physical capabilities he has shown a real aptitude for analysing different situations and training methods. His teaching ability stems from this mentality and will greatly benefit any student. I have faith in his ability to be a representative for this art and my organization.

Gary has consistently stayed away from the negative, political side of martial arts and continues to display a very positive outlook and an enthusiasm for the art.
